Diversion Scheme
Druglink’s Diversion Scheme aims to increase people’s understanding of low-level offending related to a substance or type of behaviour.
We partner with Police Forces across the UK in order to reduce the number of low-level offences. At our partner Forces, when an individual commits an offence that involves alcohol or certain drugs, they will be offered the chance to attend a Druglink Diversion course.
If someone has received an Out of Court Disposal such as a Conditional Caution or Community Resolution for an alcohol or drug related offence, they have to attend the course - non-attendance could result in prosecution.
We offer face-to-face, virtual and eLearning courses. All of our face-to-face courses are based as close as possible to the partner Police Force. They will be in an accessible venue, such as a community centre, fire station, training centre or college. Courses run throughout the year, usually on a Saturday.
