Oxygen Choices supports people at different stages of their recovery and at different stages of housing need. We offer support in and around recovery, relapse and independent living skills. The service is tailored to individual client need and our aim is to take people from rehab/ prison or similar treatment centers to help them make the necessary lifestyle changes for a smooth transition back in to independent living. A member of staff is available on a daily basis for support as and when it is needed.
For help along their journey, all clients:
Have weekly key work sessions.
Are asked to attend either drug/ alcohol programs, or to be engaged in volunteering/ training for a minimum 4 days a weeks - we work with each client to find the opportunity that suits their individual need.
Are expected to be responsible for upkeep and care of the property they are living in, as they would be outside of supported accommodation.
Our expectation is that our clients start to take responsibility for their progress back into independent living. We support them every step of the way, but our objective is for clients to drive their journey and make real decisions about their future.
At the end of their time with us, we work with our clients and local partners to help them find move on accommodation.
